My experiences with foundation behavior health have been anything but wonderful, and amazing. My son is on the spectrum and considered. non verbal,(limited expression) The first time he went there he was eloping and very disoriented, with episodes of aggressions.They helped him tremendously so he was able to come home. School was impressed about the changes that took place in his behavior. But 6 months later, he started to elope badly again ,so I took him to CHOP, quicly he was being transfered there back. They did an excellent job again; he was well taken care of, caring therapists, compassionate doctors and staff everytime, calling me to be part of his care. Now they have reccomended that my son goes to a RTF. They did everything possible to make that happened. The loving therapist who is in charge of my son ,coordinated all the meetings necessary with all the agencies responsible for mental health and always made sure that I am involved and present at all meetings. All I can say, is Thank God for this place. Another reason for me to know, that I am not alone in this heartwrenching situation with my son . There are people who care. Mental professionals and others who dedicated their lives to help improve others'. Hopefully; they'll continue to be there for other families like mine, who are in dire needs and when struggles arise to find this caring loving place (people)to entrust their beloved children. I have been working with Nancy Blender at Foundations for a couple of weeks attempting to obtain billing and records. Nancy assisted me every step of the way and went out of her way to make sure I received everything I needed.
