Serving in a non profit organization for 47 years, my husband and I didn't think we really had money to invest. But when our parents passed away and we were blessed with some inheritance, Scott and Matt Shaw were the perfect men to listen to. Their insights, wisdom, knowledge, and sensitivity were invaluable for us in charting our retirement course. When I retired six years ago from a very full career and relocated to a different state, the transition was difficult. At about the same time, my financial advisor of several years also retired; and so, I was seeking to build a new financial relationship of trust. Through family members, I was introduced to Joe Bisulca and Scott Shaw of Veritas Strategies. From them, I learned a unique approach to managing my retirement resources. This did not happen overnight as they patiently answered my questions and educated me in their principled, moral philosophy of wealth management for more than 18 months before I finally made up my mind to follow their lead.
The deciding factor for me was reading their business page so that I could discover who they really are and what Veritas Strategies truly is. My own life has been one of service where I recognize that every blessing and direction needs to be acknowledged with a gratitude that honors God and his creation, and serves well the needs of his people. Veritas means truth, and that is quite important to me. I like being associated with men of integrity who are motivated by what is good. I am humbled, blessed, and exceedingly grateful to Scott, Joe, and Matt.

My husband and I believed in handling most of our financial investing and tax preparation ourselves, until we approached retirement age and had aging parents. Veritas Strategies came highly recommended to us by many sources as an honest and hard-working organization and we have never been disappointed. In the 4 years that we have worked with Veritas, we have always taken part in our financial decisions and with no pressure to hurry.
