Update **Finally got a call back with results. Doctor didnt remember why I was sent to have the test done, I had to remind her. If youre calling a patient to discuss their health, perhaps have their chart up. I felt like a bother taken out of her day. ** Two stars, because while I was there for my initial appointment, I found her to be promising as my newly selected doctor. I was sent out for a rather critical/important test. Had the test done on a Saturday, with results in her office that following Monday. I reached out by portal to see if results were in. No response. But I figured it would take a few days. I left a couple more messages through the week asking for a call back, or if I should make an appointment to learn results. No response - until after hours on Friday evening. Dr Barbettas message through the portal was that shed tried to call multiple times and my phone went straight to full voicemail, that she would try again Monday. I had received calls and voice mails all week, and found it odd, figured she had the wrong number. I responded with my number just in case, and proceeded to answer every unknown and private caller all week, to ensure I didnt miss her call. I excused myself from meetings at work and left my ringer on to the annoyance of my coworkers. No call. No call all week. No return message, nothing. I tried a couple more messages through the portal, nothing. I resorted to obtaining the results from the hospital myself. Of course I have questions regarding those results, but no doctor to discuss concerns with. I made an appointment with another doctor that was recommended by staff. Apparently this is a common occurrence. I really wanted to like Dr Barbetta, I recommended coworkers to her after my initial visit. Im disappointed, and definitely dont feel as if I were a valued or respected new patient. If youre new to the area, and looking for a doctor that has time for you, you might want to keep looking. I have, and will find a good fit for me. Best of luck!
