The house was very easy to find and well labeled from the street. As we drove up the path towards the house, we passed over a small cattle bridge. That immediately showed us their attention to detail. We pulled into the spacious driveway, parked and headed inside. As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by our lovely hosts and their two beautiful dogs. They showed us up to our rooms and gave us a quick tour of the grounds and amenities. As we walked up to the room, Marko informed us that shoes were not allowed in the room. As soon as we stepped onto the carpet barefoot, we understood why. I won't say anymore since it's just something you'll have to see for yourself. In the room, there was a flat screen TV with cable, Netflix, and Apple TV. The Apple TV was great for us because we just used AirPlay to watch our own stuff. The bathroom looked brand new and well constructed. There was a large sink and a spacious walk-in shower. The shower also functioned is a steam room, which we definitely used. Unfortunately, it was too rainy and chilly for us to go hiking. So after we had settled, we left to go visit the near by town of Milford and eat at River Rock Inn (see their page for review). When we got back, we used the jacuzzi. In the summer time, you could also use the pool. The jacuzzi had plenty of jets and even underwater lights for the nighttime, which we used. However, the patio could have probably used some more mood lighting. For example, some christmas lights strung around the nearby trees and a few lanterns above the jacuzzi would have really made it beautiful at night. In the morning, we used the steam function of the shower. When we headed down for breakfast, they already had a beautiful plate of fruits ready for us (see picture). Definitely try the peach and jalapeño jam. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we hope to return. In fact, if we're ever in the area, it's the only place we'd stay.

Had a truly wonderful stay at Nestbed with Sally & Marko our superb and gracious hosts. Food was divine. The house is stunning. There's plenty to see and do in the nearby Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area and the town of Milford, but you'll likely spend most of your time wanting to relax at the house.

Our recent couple of days at the "Nest" was a truly inviting, warm and comforting stay. Arriving in the afternoon, the driveway led us to an opening in the woods that offered the view of a modern home surrounded by beautifully landscaped plants and flowers (and veggie/herb gardens). We were warmly welcomed by a wonderful family; Sally, Marko, Tulo and Frodo. Their "nest" offers feelings of warmth and comfort; from the living room through the kitchen, dining area, and multiple porches. The decor is so inviting. Our room, and the house was immaculate, nicely decorated and offered comfort after days of hiking, sightseeing and shopping. Breakfast in the dining area overlooking the grounds was sooo delicious and soooo wonderfully presented, right down to the place settings! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, walking the grounds, the pool and, of course the hot tub. Sally and Marko, thank you for your hospitality, conversations and friendship....you are gracious hosts....we plan to return in the Fall.

Such a special, magical place! The house is beautiful, immaculate, filled with plants and artwork. There are two adorable dogs--golden doodles--who make you feel right at home. The FOOD is just incredible. Better than brunch at the fanciest restaurant. Perfect kale-mushroom omelets, french toast with rhubarb compote and the crispiest bacon, edible fruit sculptures with spikes and florets of mango, pomegranate, pineapple on a bed of granola parfait. A hot tub you can use anytime. A game room with pool table, ping pong, books, games, and movies. Super nice bedroom with luxurious bathroom (with steam room). Sally and Marko were very kind and welcoming. We wanted to do some hiking and Marko recommended 4 areas in the Delaware Water Gap for us to try. All 4 were beautiful hikes filled with gorgeous waterfalls that I will always remember!
