Would not recommend at all, previously had work done by Jeff. He promised to charge us $75 an hour considering we live only a short distance away and ended up charging us $90 an hour. He never finished the job but happily took our money. We’ve tried calling for over a week now, left voicemails and everything to get him to come over and finish his work and he doesn’t even have the decency to call us back. So now we have a huge pile of dirt we now have to move ourselves. It’s a complete disgrace to have trust in someone only to be taken advantage of. Very poor business, I will never do business with this individual again.

Terrible. Awful job doing lawn at my new house. Poor grading. Did not live up to any of his promises. Definitely stay away from this guy. Big waste of money.

He works so hard, family orientated and cares about your needs and budget. I am beyond excited to get a lawn. He made my house look a million times better by making my yard level filling holes and cleaning up poison and brush. Helped give me direction when we had a tree removal company come out that we wouldn’t get ripped off as a young couple that’s important that someone would care and give suggestions. Would refer him to anyone and everyone!!

Jeff’s product is second to none. The grass came in within 10 days and was thick and green. I couldn’t recommend him more!

We used Garden By The Barn after building a new home in a Charter neighborhood. Of course, Charter did their mediocre grass planting on terrible soil after stripping the original top soil. It was rocky and poor quality and we spent 3 years trying to grow grass until we finally gave up. My wife heard read about hydroseeding after we were driving on the highway and noticed what looked like green spray paint along newly reconstructed highway. Long story short, we called Garden By The Barn and they were there the next day hydroseeding. We have a half acre lot and they were done in an hour. 3 days later we had some pretty heavy rainfall...I didn't even have to call. They were there the next day hitting the areas that washed away with the rain. We a had a very healthy base of grass just weeks later. If you are having a hard time getting grass to grow or if you just bought a home in a newer development then don't waste your time with traditional seeding...Call these guys before you do anything.
