Blair Mountain Bed & Breakfast

Went to a bridal shower here, it was beautifully location that felt intimate like a family gathering.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The room was really nice, and the owners are very sweet. I even mixed up the day we were supposed to come, and she was able to still get us in the room we booked. Very relaxing experience and so close to skiing. We had a blast!

I hosted a bridal shower at the bed and breakfast on February 22, 2014. I went couple months in advance and checked out the venue when I was visiting from Pittsburgh. Tracie, the innkeeper, was very accommodating, being that I was planning this from out of town. As for the actual day, we brought in the food and drinks, but Tracie was very helpful parking cars and helping us to set up. She also helped with some of the cleanup as well. Overall, great looking venue and great innkeeper! Everyone was commenting on what a unique and wonderful place for a bridal shower.

My family and I visited and had a bad experience at this B&B for the following reasons: -2 stink bugs in house; innkeeper said "nothing can be done about them" -Wifi, or lack thereof. When asked if anything could be done about it, she played the "woe is me" card, saying basically.....I have more customers coming for 3 whole days, now i have to tell them there is no wifi....aka they are more important than you. -TV in one bedroom did not work -Innkeeper had Comcast on speaker phone, negating the relaxing atmosphere in the common room. -Inn keeper insisted that we put our luggage on a luggage rack and chest multiple times. -The innkeeper fought with her husband in the kitchen, which is adjacent to the common room, again, negating the relaxing atmosphere -The innkeeper went beyond polite and inserted herself into several conversations. -Overpriced On a positive note: -Clean (minus the bugs) -The pantry was filled with homemade cookies and soda and coffee -Breakfast was okay -Was accommodating to provide us with lift tickets the morning before check in.
