I totally wasted my time and gas, coming and going to this place -- didn't even get to see the provider at all because the reception failed to mention important details before the appointment. I booked the appointment via Zocdoc on Friday 7/30 around 6:20 pm. It said to call the place to provide information, but I figured they were already closed for the weekend. I called today, Monday 8/2 at 8:03 am to provide them with personal information and insurance information to confirm the appointment. When I got there 10 min before the appointment (meant to be there earlier, but got lost in the Spring Mills building), they asked for the insurance information again, and then told me that I needed to choose them to be my PCP and CLAIMED that they had told this to me over the phone THIS morning when I called them. I'm a really organized person, and I needed this appointment for a health form to send to school ASAP. IF I ACTUALLY HEARD SOMETHING LIKE THIS DURING THE CALL 2 HOURS BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, no doubt I would've done this right away and before I left my house. So I sat there for about 30 minutes in the lobby, trying to get through to my insurance company CS (we couldn't find the provider ID number that THEIR RECEPTIONIST gave to me as their "group ID number") and had to use multiple ways of searching to finally find this place to add as my PCP. When I let her know I was done adding them to my account, she told me she'd check me in and then came to tell me that now the appointment was no longer available, and that I'd have to either come back in the afternoon or the next day. She also claimed that the manager called and left a voicemail on my phone, WHICH WASN'T TRUE. I had no voicemails or even missed calls from them. So now I have to find another PCP asap to get this done, and have wasted 2 hours without even being able to see the provider. I don't know if the providers are good at their job, but certainly their reception IS NOT and it angers me that they made it sound like they did everything they can, when in fact they did not. IT'S ONE THING TO MAKE A MISTAKE, BUT IT'S ANOTHER THING TO LIE ABOUT IT TO COVER IT UP AND BLAME IT ON THE PATIENT. I read couple reviews on google that had issues about this office, and I'm sorry that I ignored those reviews because their management is terrible.
