US Digestive Health at Collegeville

This facility was recommended by my PCP, so I visited. I was seen by a physicians assistant who was basically no help. They suggested a stool kit and a colonoscopy (I'm in my mid-30's...) and the best guess was e-coli. When the kit came back negative I decided to go elsewhere. I'm glad I did because I now know what was wrong without the colonoscopy. What it appeared to me is they blindly follow what the broken medical industry recommends without actually using any real medical knowledge.

I received an incredibly rude phone call this morning from an incredibly rude woman (you know who you are...you need to take some courses on how to speak to patients that are ill and in pain) telling me that my Doctor could not prescribe standard prednisone for my UC which I have had for over 30 years because they would need to see me first, even though I told them I could not drive myself to their office nor had anyone to drive me and would not allow an appointment over the phone. She kept getting louder and louder and not letting me speak. Even though they have my full blood work from the emergency room. Dr.Kaufmann if this is the lady you have calling your patients, you should perhaps listen to how she speaks to people before allowing her to make another phone call I have been a patient at Mainline GI for well over 15 years. This is not how I expect to be treated.
