Dr. Thieme was extremely kind, compassionate, and attentive throughout my time in her care. I am especially grateful for her willingness to listen, even when and especially when it was difficult to describe the exact difficulties I was having. I'd highly recommend her!

Someone's character is defined usually by when something goes wrong and my foot's been damaged now for over 7 years (9/16). Dr. Theime ignored my calls and I had to walk into her practice Without appointment to deal with her. I came to Dr. Thieme with a referral for a Sural Nerve Biopsy of the foot and I was very skeptical due to it being a Nerve so I had a preconsultation to find out if there was any risk. She assured me she'd done a lot without any problems so I scheduled with her. As soon as I woke from surgery I was screaming in Agony and for weeks there after. Even my attendant said you better get a Lawyer! She was baffled and had No answers or suggestions that made sense after my unscheduled walk-in weeks later. Now YEARS after the surgery (9/27/16) I still can't use my foot more than an hour or so from Burning & Stabbing pain. I've talked to several Neurologists since then and was told surgery of this type COMMONLY CAUSES THIS PROBLEM and is Not recommended! University of Pennsylvania Neurologists told me the procedure was totally unnecessary since my records showed the condition already existed! Referring Doctor Upadhyay was unbelievably stupid just by suggesting this Dangerous procedure! She wouldn't even take responsibility for the damage she did to me either! Never tried to help. I expected a professional to had given me the option to avoid this with a simple Warning about the risks but NO! Lawyer's have said we cannot sue due to the costs of Specialists needed to prove this in court. She had NO CLUE as to what she was talking about I'm posative after talking to Neurologists several times now. Incompetence and Irresponsible! I found a Podiatrist (Dr.Zumbaugh) who understands the problem and has been able to PARTIALLY correct the damage in the last few months using injections in the foot (11/7/22) but the pain is still there and can get bad enough sometimes still where I have trouble walking.
