I rarely take the time to do reviews but i had such a bad experience with this orthodontist that i felt the need to warn others. Take your money and go to someone else. This orthodontist, in my opinion and in another orthodontist opinion, doesn't know what she is doing.
My parents spent a lot of money (over $5,000) for invisalign (the clear braces). After completing two full sets of invisalign trays (min. of 23 & at a rate of changing a tray every 2 weeks) and starting a third, an ongoing 5 years, my teeth are still not straight! I did everything i was suppose to because i wanted straight teeth after all my life having a twisted incisor and being conscious of it. My teeth showed some improvement after the first but still far from being straight. If the first completed tray didn't work then that should have been a tale-tell sign. But she insisted all we needed was another series of trays and place the brackets differently. And after that didn't work she said it was because of my wisdom teeth (which she should have put into consideration since the beginning). I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed and that didn't work. Not to mention by this time i was already out of state for 2 years. She wanted to see me every 4 months or so but I would go see her at least once a year as it is not just around the corner. Even then she would see me for 5 minutes to ask me if the trays are working ( 0.o aren't you the orthodontist?) and say "yup, looking good. Just make sure you keep wearing them and using the chewy. If this doesn't work we will try rubber bands next time." Next time we did and they were as useless as anything.
Being fed up with this not working and having to travel to see her I went to another orthodontist who told me that invisalign are limited on what they can do and would not work in my case of having a twisted incisor and that i would need metal braces. Wow. So basically my parents paid for nothing and i lost 5 years of trying to achieve something that was never going to happen under those circumstances. When my mom called her to tell her that the invasilign isn't working and what the other orthodontist said she got rude with her and tried to blame me living out of state and that i wasn't cooperating with her. Which in reality i should have had straight teeth before i graduated high school and moved on with my life. Needless to say when my mother called again Dr. Bonney wouldn't even talk to her instead she had her receptionist do the talking for her giving my mom major attitude and laughing when my mom wanted her money back or at least enough to cover for top braces since that was my main concern. As you can tell Dr. Bonney does not take pride in her work and could careless about her patients. Her and most of her staff are unprofessional and rude. You should hear the way Dr. Bonney talks to some of her assistants.
Bottom line: Save yourself money, your time, and a headache. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE.
