I used to use Armstrong at my previous address for many years. I moved to a new home in Fombell and all my neighbors have Armstrong. My nearest neighbor is 100 feet away withaccess to an underground conduit for the cable to come through and we are still unable to get cable from Armstrong. We spoke with an engineer named Eric who instructed us to contact penn Power about available poles which we did. And still no response from Armstrong. Penn power instructed us that Armstrong needed to put in an order. We checked with penn power multiple times and they had not received any response from Armstrong. So Eric and Armstrong were not meeting their own obligations and ignoring our requests.

I live in NC, and somehow, this company overcharged my card because they are completely incompetent. Tax time I will be paying off the equipment and canceling my service!

I was with another internet provider from 12/2013 (when I first got internet) until 5/2023. Last year they sold my area to another company and it became a nightmare. As if less than 10 Mbps download speed (don't mention uploading anything!) was not bad enough, the service was off more than on after the transfer. Most of Dec. 2022 I had no internet and was never given credit for being without service either. Also customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. So, in May of this year I did some research online after receiving a discount offer in the mail from Armstrong. I called them to ask some questions and the sales person was very helpful and answered everything for me. I decided to go for a change and signed up to get Armstrong for my internet service. No cable TV or phone, just internet. It was installed in less than 2 weeks time and all the technicians that were at my home were knowledgeable and did a great job. The guy that came inside my home was very good at getting it set up and explaining things to me on how to get all my gadgets connected with the new service. I did not go with the fastest speed, but got a medium one of 300 Mbps. So far I am more than pleased with the service, the price, and the huge improvement on my internet speed! I waited this long to write the review to make sure it was going to work out and not have any problems. I am not a person that likes making changes in where or with whom I do business, but this was one of the best changes ever! And they made it all so easy for me. Thanks!

This ISP overall kinda sucks. High prices, iffy uptime, and lack luster support. Still running legacy DOCSIS lines in some areas and areas that aren't running legacy, are 1 year away from being in that same group. Services are good in short periods and then 1 day they just don't work entirely or are so intermittent off that you might as well just start a fire and wait it out. Don't bother calling their support line either, you'll wait 10 minutes to get sent to voicemail or you'll wait 45 minutes for a "professional" who will ultimately just force restart your router/modem from their side and if it doesn't fix the issue they'll just send a tech out to your house. Due to some ISP agreements they are the only provider in the area they cover so just like us, ya stuck with em. If you have the option to get Verizon 5G Satellite, do it. You'll pay less, get better more consistent service, and call into a support line where someone at least pickups. Good luck to whoever is forced to use Armstrong lol.
