The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) has worked with the dynamic and dedicated team at Kimball Hughes Public Relations for almost three years very productive years so far, and I am happy to relate my positive experience working with this firm. In early 2017 we hired Kimball Hughes PR to help promote our biennial Women in Insurance Global Conference, a crucial component of the largest diversity initiative in the insurance industry, typically welcoming an international audience of approximately 650 attendees. From the start, the team at Kimball Hughes PR was an eager partner, taking the time to learn the details of our strategies and tactics, and offering meaningful insight and contributions from day 1. Working in conjunction with IICF, Kimball Hughes PR quickly identified key media opportunities that would focus on the conference while also developing a content strategy to bring to light topics and issues central to our mission. We quickly learned Kimball Hughes’ strengths relative to media outreach, as various diversity messages resonated with editors and the results of which ensured industry leaders were not only interviewed on these subjects, but were invited to publish articles under their names in a wide range of media. I found the Kimball Hughes PR team to be at all times engaged, accessible and prepared to offer ideas and support. In fact, based on their strong performance, we expanded the scope of the original contract to include pre-conference social media content development and postings. More than 30 media placements – interviews, bylined articles and news coverage – about the conference or key conference topics resulted from their efforts, including the largest number of on-site media attendance we have hosted for this conference series. Following the stellar performance related to their initial conference support, we subsequently hired Kimball Hughes PR to support our 2018 Women In Insurance Regional Forums and 2019 Global Conference, where they exceeded the high bar of their previous Global Conference PR achievements. We have since further expanded our relationship to include ongoing PR support and they will again be our PR agency for our 2020 Regional Forums. I continually welcome the wise counsel, tenacity, creative ideas and overall support the Kimball Hughes PR team brings to the table, and I offer my strong recommendation of them for any organization hoping to advance their cause via the media.
