Starter's Riverport Restaurant

I have eaten here a few years ago but don't recall anything was superb to my taste and appeal, except for this past weekend when I decided to try their crispy chicken salad. I really liked the chicken that seemed to be freshly fried. I don't like iceberg lettuce so I asked for romaine instead. I don't think I've ever experienced this before, but on my bill the tip was already added without my knowledge. They turn the restaurant into a club whenever people leave that first floor area where they would need to clear the tables for the club night. I think they need to have a friendly way to let people know this so they don't sit down at a table in that area or if they already did, wouldn't stay there too long.

First of all, you have to pay to park, which I think is rediculous considering, I'm paying for your food, then when we got in we found out there was a 45 minute wait, so we waited, when we were finally seated, we saw a bunch of empty tables. I don't know if they were short staffed on waitors, or what but there should have been no empty tables. They had a bunch of people who delivered the food but not alot of waitors. Our waitor was incredibly lazy. He stood at the computer the whole night and did not refill our drinks until I had to go over and ask him. All he did was take our order and get us drinks. I hope he did not expect a full tip for just doing that.... It was also very very very loud in there. I get that its a sports bar but there was no need for the game commentary, the subtitles would have worked just fine or if the audio was lower. Not everyone is there to watch the game, you had to shout to talk to the person next to you. It is also very dark in there. The food was mediocre, I've had better. I was very dissapointed with it because besides my time, I've heard nothing but good things about it. I will not be returning to this resturant. I felt as though they were wasting my time to get me to go pay more for parking. The only reason we went, was because we had gotten a gift card. Otherwise we probally would have not went there. We also had to ask for boxes and our check, so we could get out of their on time before our parking was up.

Food is alright but the service is subpar and the crowd is usually a drunken mess.
