Douglas is the true definition of a master of his craft. His unique candid/photojournalistic style allows him to capture sincere, honest moments unlike anyone else. Throughout the entire process of preparing for and the day of the wedding, Douglas and his wife Sarah were an absolute pleasure to work with. Taking advantage of some of the unique locations at our wedding, they managed to capture our special wedding day in such away that our joy, happiness, and love will be forever solidified in our photos. We could not be more thrilled with Douglas Benedict's work as our wedding photographer!! We first met with Douglas over a year before our wedding, and we were so impressed with his work that we knew we wanted to book him immediately. What made it even better, though, was how well we got along with him - how comfortable we were around him, and how much we could tell he cared about our wedding. We never felt like just a number or worried about a thing during the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, Douglas not only got all of the important moments perfectly captured on camera, but many, many other fantastic moments throughout the day. When I look at our wedding photos, I am immediately transported back to our wedding day. I can see the emotion in my wife's eyes as her sister gave her matron-of-honor speech. I can see the pure joy in my friends' faces as they're laughing on the dance floor of our reception. I can bring myself back to the minutes my now-wife and I spent wandering through downtown Bethlehem as Douglas captured the most unique, beautiful images of us between our ceremony and reception. Our wedding photos arrived within less than a month and we absolutely LOVE them. My wife and I both 100% recommend Douglas Benedict as a wedding photographer and are so thankful that we went with him to capture our special day!
