First time in beautiful Bangor, PA. The scenery outside is stunning and there are 2 inviting pink picnic benches to soak it all in during a gorgeous Fall day. There is no indoor dining at this time. However, the food and service were disappointing despite most of the reviews that led us to this restaurant today. Only 2 items were available from the menu - pulled pork and wings. So we tried both. They were both very dry and made hours (if not days earlier). The server at the window knew we were going to sit outdoors and eat (we were the ONLY customers), but we had to ask for forks, then for napkins. The sides (corn and collard greens) were very ordinary and not flavourful. I hope they will consider this critique and perhaps it was a rare circumstance when they truly ran out of meat and served “leftovers†from some time ago. Please train the young lady at the window for better customer service. If you have never driven around this area, just the drive in the countryside makes it worth it. We will give this place another try, sometime in the future.

Very BAD experience. Just now bought pulled pork, mac & cheese, collard greens and extra bread rolls, spent $25.00, ALL 4 items were very very very dried out, especially the expensive PORK, gross! Couldn't even CHOKE the pork down with a beer. What a waste of my hard-earned $25.00! They are using meat that was cooked last week or before, and reheating! Don't waste your money here, they are scammers! Worse than what you would pull from a dumpster! I've eaten BBQ all over the country. Worst meat, worst mac & cheese, worst collards, worst stale bread I've ever had! I can't stand businesses that intentionally rip off the public on purpose! They should be shut down for ripping off the public! What a waste of my hard-earned money!!!
