Absolutely unprofessional and unpleasant. Refused to tow my car to a mechanic that they dislike. I have no idea how they can be AAA affiliated.
Edit: I see your little note. So now it's because of a junkyard being across the street. What will it be next week? You won't tow for someone because it's partly cloudy with a chance of sun? I got it taken care of by a different AAA contractor, and they didn't throw a fit, let alone say a word.

I got stuck in a ditch on a pole line (don't ask), and once they got to me (AAA is a whole other issue), it was a relatively quick rescue. I was stuck good, and with some creative finagling they lifted, rotated, and pulled my vehicle out safely.

I simply cannot say enough about Martha and the Klischer Motors towing company.
Dec. 22 we were in an accident while traveling and had our truck towed by another AAA recommended company who double charged us, ignored phone calls for days, told us time and time and time again they would tow our truck back to our house and never did. (But continued to charge us storage fees).
Eventually, on Dec. 28, we gave up on them and insisted AAA book us with another company. Enter Martha.
With us several states away and our truck stuck in Pennsylvania, Martha called us and arranged the tow back to New York within an hour of us contacting AAA.
She communicated with us every step of the way -- the first call when the tow truck was dispatched, then when it picked up our vehicle, lastly, when they deposited it safely in our driveway in New York. The round trip was over 300 miles.
She even had the driver take photos of the vehicle and send them to us for our records.
The whole ordeal with the other company was incredibly distressing, but working with Martha could not have been easier. Her crew was incredibly kind and understanding of our predicament.
While I hope to never need their services while traveling through the area again, if I do, I would INSIST on working with them.
