Our contact with Smithmyer started amicably and stayed that way as long as we spent money for their services. So they recommended a new furnace, that we probably didn't really need; then an expensive replacement for our central air/heat system. As you can imagine we spent thousands. Then we agreed to the home maintenance plan where they came to inspect and performed preventative maintenance. Each time the proprietor tried to sell us an upgrade. Then we had need for some small plumbing tasks and called for appointments. They didn't show and didn't call to reschedule. I called and left messages and never got a response. I even wrote a letter in an effort to reopen communication. The only conclusion I could come to is that they took us for everything they could, then had no interest in our business. Just for the record, we paid our bill promptly and completely every time and I feel we deserved better consideration.

Doesn't return phone calls, wanted 4 week's no estimate, called 4 time's, third time got a very unpleasant receptionist, one word answers, never offered to take a message or find out if my estimate was done ,last call as to talk in to Mr Smithmyer said he is wasn't available, took my message , no reply. Not dependable

great service,no hot water called at 8:00A.M they were there within a hour,had it fixed and working in a couple hours

Always have been a pleasure to work with. Prompt and professional. I had to use them several times after purchasing an older home and never had an issue. They even had my heat up and running right before Christmas! Thank you!
