Update: One of the lights went out during backsplash installation and I got a hold of Octavio who came right over to my house and fixed the lights! They look much better now. Original: The undercabinet lighting these guys installed for me looks so junky. After a few days looking closely at it, I am so mad I didn't notice at first and speak up. The hole in the wall where the strip lighting is attached is gaping, and the strip doesn't run the length of the cabinet (which the guy said that's just how it is). The end is capped with white electrical tape, that's it. And the strip is so close to the wall we are going to have to move it out a little to make room for the backsplash (which we talked about beforehand). Their quote was thousands of dollars cheaper than Winters and after spending weeks doing the merry go round with electricians - a week to get to me, 2 weeks to get a ridiculous quote back - I ended up against the wall with these guys (side note, what is up with electricians??). Aside from the ugly work, the actual work took hours longer than anticipated and I think the most disturbing part was the huge mess they were going to leave. Luckily my handyman was on his heels and said something. They did not even put down a dropcloth on my brand new floor! This was my first kitchen remodel and this was the "hard" lesson. I tried to call them afterward to express my dissatisfaction but I got voicemail so many times I decided to just leave this review hoping it can help someone down the road. Don't use these guys for anything outward facing. I will say he seemed to know what he was doing behind the walls but now I'm left with what to do about these under cabinet lights.
