Overall I think this a great location and has amazing potential for being a perfect family get away. They however has some serious issues that HAVE to be fixed in order to be save to stay at. That problem would be rodents in the house and not a minor one. I want my review to be balanced and if there was not a mouse problem, this would be at 5 stars from us without a second thought. If this gets fixed we would love to come back next year for the Pendleton round up and stay. Pros: great location and the kindest people. With your room you get free breakfast at the diner across the street and the food is delicious with great presentation. The food alone would bring me back here. They also have tepes you can stay in with fire pits and would be an amazing experience to stay in. We stayed at the main A-fram house. Inside the house you have a shared common area and an industrial size kitchen that is full stocked with kitchen items and spices. There are movies they have to watch and puzzles to do and a ping pong table my brothers and I spent most of our time at. An enjoyable memory we have will be listening to elk calls at night and speaking with the owners and caretakers. Cons: they have a HUGE mouse or pack rar issue. There was feces and seeds in both bathrooms and in the bath tube. My parents room had feces inside the bed and the room we shared had scattering of feces in it. The morning we left we saw a mouse run across the room and under my bed (we stayed two nights and could not go anywhere else due to the Pendleton round up crowd booking every hotel within 50 miles). There is also no cell phone service and wifi is only available in the diner/store across the street. The establishment was a little run down and the sheets could do with an update as my fitted sheet did not stay on the mattress due to the elastic being worn out. There is also not a big reserve of hot water and so you should take a quick showers.
