Joining the Kumon Center in West Linn has been a transformative experience for my family. I had always wanted my kids to experience Kumon as I had generally heard good things, but until recently we hadn't lived near a center. My daughter was initially very excited but lost her excitement about it as the work became burdensome. The center director Gabriela troubleshooted our challenges over a long period of time, offering multiple types of solutions that extended to ways of navigating my daughter's school experience in the best possible way. Through this, I've learned how to have the routines and patterns necessary for both my kids' academic success, even in a lower rated school district, and for them to thrive and find pride and satisfaction in working hard. I love hearing the pride in my daughter's voice when she shares how quickly and accurately she completes math exercises in school now, and how eagerly she is beginning to pursue her passion for writing. Kumon has been integral to our family's transformation and to both my kids' growing success in school and life.

If you are considering Kumon for your kids at this center, DO IT. Gabby is the owner of this branch and she puts her heart and soul into the education of every child that walks through her doors. My son has been going here since he was 3and is now 7, during this time Gabby has supported my son and helped him catch up and succeed with school when he became ill. Along with Gabby, the rest of the instructors/tutors at this center are AMAZING and have so much patience and care for the kids. Ill always be grateful to Westlinn Kumon for the support they have shown my son in his education. Please dont hesitate, enroll your kids! Special she speaks Spanish and and other languages kumon is the best for everyone that care for the education of there children thanks for everything that you do for are kid support and support for our kids thanks kumon

West Linn Kumon has been a wonderful experience for my son who has Down Syndrome. The improvement in his reading skills has been amazing! The repetition and consistency is just what he needed to advance.

My son has been enrolled with Kumon in West Linn for the last three years. We have him enrolled in the Math and Reading program and go to the Kumon Center twice a week. We started using Kumon to supplement his education as we left a private school setting and enrolled in public school here in West Linn. Once we enrolled in public school and started to noice some gaps in learning, we needed to seek out help. I researched several options and liked Gabby, the Kumon Director of the West Linn center. She has been invaluable to us. She understands what her students need and how to help them be successful learners. Gabby also has great coping and adaptions for students that are frustrated or having a hard time with focus. She also has a very good ideas of how your student will progress and when to build a scaffold to help when there is a stumbling block. Gabby has also helped us as parents when it comes to things she sees that might help with our sons education and learning style so we can apply that in home and at school.
Our son has increased retention and comprehension of math and reading. He is getting better grades in school and seems more confident because of the knowledge he has gained from the Kumon practice and curriculum. I was sort of apprehensive of the successes that the Kumon program would provide at the beginning. I am just so glad we enrolled our son here and have absolutely no regrets.
One thing I will also say is if you look at the cost of enrollment for both Math and Reading at Kumon vs. private tutoring, other programs might offer one area of tutoring but not both or are only seasonal. You will also find that Kumon is a much more cost effective and a consistent benefit to your learner.
