I highly recommend Ravens Service Group. They are a fair price and do good work. I had them install a hot water heater and a dish washer which I bought at Home Depot, by having Ravens install them I saved over five hundred dollars compared to Home depot install price, plus no removal fee for old heater and dishwasher. Matt is the handy man I worked with I trusted him to be at the house when I was not there he is a real nice guy. Ravens did such good work I rehired them to install a chair lift for my Mom, another job well done and a savings of over a thousand dollars had Ameriglide [where I purchased the chair lift] done the install. Ravens gives free estimates and charge by the hour. I have another job for them in the near future to help me fix up an old bathroom. Matt is a skilled and diverse handyman. P.S. don't be afraid to call because their address is Waldport, Matt works out of Vancouver and I live in Tigard I'm glad I called Ravens Services Group.

We hired Raven in May of 2017 to paint our grained wood kitchen cabinets (including an island), install new kitchen countertops and tile the kitchen backsplash. Also to paint our bathroom cabinet and tile the cabinet countertop. The work was supposed to take ~3-4 days...it ended up taking 11 days. At the time our work was scheduled, the owners left the state for 2 weeks without telling us and left a new employee in charge who had not even had a walk- through and who was stressed from being over-burdened. There were a lot of problems from the start (i.e., no protection of floors or walls as stipulated in the contract, employees bringing their children to work with them, an overworked, stressed out project manager, etc.), but the end result in the kitchen looked good and we were optimistic. Unfortunately now the cabinet paint is constantly flaking in small places and the grout where the subway tile meets the countertop material is crumbling (we're now told it should have been caulked at the connection). This is after only 7 months. The one bright spot are the countertops...one man's very professional work done quickly and efficiently with an excellent result (hence 2 stars rather than 1). The very expensive mosaic tile (we purchased separately) in the bathroom had to be redone 3 times and again the floor was not protected nor was the construction site kept neat and clean, and altho we were promised it would not happen, we were without a working sink (only 1 bathroom in our condo) for 3 days. The end result of the bathroom tile work was ok, but not what we had hoped for. Now some of the white grout is crumbling and turning color. Raven was not the low bidder (next to low), but we were so impressed by Danielle and Chad's attitude and personality, that we chose them. We think they meant well, but the project was obviously not high on their priority list. While they may be 5-star at small, handyman type projects, we could not recommend them for more complicated renovation work that needs scheduling, coordination and expertise.

I'm sorry that I must change my rating from 5 stars to 2. The work that has been perfomed has been wonderful and the workers very polite and helpful. However, recently calls are not being returned and emails are left unanswered. We once used Raven frequently in projects now only to be ignored. We had a project list that we wanted to hire Raven to accomplish, but now we must look elsewhere. We will no longer recommend this company to others.

Raven Services Group is amazing! They came out to provide weed mitigation services to my front and back yard. They've been back out to my house twice to follow-up. They have exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use them for other handyman projects in the future.
