Equity Quest Homes built our dream house and we enjoyed the entire process! When we met with Shannon and Gina I had a little hand drawn floor plan of a house with a courtyard and told them we wanted to build a multigenerational home. Gina created a floor plan with a courtyard and an ADU! We collaborated on the design and it was so much fun! We enjoyed making decisions, making some of our own purchases and even got to do some of the work. We saved close to 100k and the build was finished on time! Even during COVID they finished our project in six months! Paul was our project manager and he was not only professional but also kind and patient. My parents often say that they feel so blessed and never imagined retiring in such a beautiful new home. We wake up feeling so lucky everyday! We would not only highly recommend working with Equity Quest but we would encourage folks to look into starting the process of building a house at whatever stage of life! We’re in our 30s and thought building our dream house was far into the future but we sold our first house and made it happen. There are lots of financing options and when you take into account that you are building exactly what you want and not paying for features of a home that you don’t want, you get so much more bang for your buck by building from the ground up. The Equity Quest Team just finished a custom build on our property in Sandy, Or. We couldn't be happier. From our initial meet with Gina and Shannon to the finishing details with Paul and the support from Ashley through the process was great. Always available to answer our questions, always had the patients to explain the process and do the homework that helped us move from A to B. The team was first class people. Integrity through and through.

We decided on Equity Quest for our custom home because of their ability to absolutely nail the design of the home on the very first try. Shannon and Gina took several pages of notes and developed a plan that got it right from the get go. That quality of service followed through the construction process. Permits were on time and as promised, quality of craftsmanship and timing were right on track, communication was excellent, and we were very involved (by choice) in the entire process. I was able to use some personal contacts in the construction industry to some a bit of money and put a personal touch on our project and EQ was very open to that. It's well known that construction is always over budget and never on time. Not with Shannon at EQ. He's on top of it for coordination and budgeting. I'd absolutely use EQ again if the opportunity arises.

I can't recommend EquityQuest highly enough. We were so impressed with their professionalism, honesty, and dedication to working through the inevitable issues that arise with construction. We could tell they really wanted us to be happy with our forever home. Shannon has a great sense for "value engineering" -- figuring out how to keep us within budget but maximizing our happiness with the end result. Our timeline expectations were well-managed, nothing was over-promised, and we are thrilled with the end result.

I cannot recommend EquityQuest highly enough. We were burning through builders for our home trying to find someone who was reliable and who understood our vision. I remember we were waiting for over two weeks for our contractor to get back to us when I saw an ad for EquityQuest and decided to give them a shot. I left a voice mail at 4:45 on a Friday and they actually called back that night! It was immediately apparent that these guys were a class above the people we had been working with. When we met Shannon he was refreshingly frank and honest. He understood our goals and he was committed to helping us see it through in the most economical way possible. Everyone was extremely professional and a joy to work with throughout the entire process. If I were building a home again I would call EquityQuest day one. In fact, when my in laws built their home they used EquityQuest based on our experience.
