A co-worker and I (we are from out of town) decided to give this place a try on a whim. It was a thursday evening. We saw the banner for soup and salad bar out front. When we were told that the special on thursdays was sirloin steak with baked potato, brocalli and garlic toast, and it included the soup and salad bar, we both decided for the special. The waitress was very helpful and friendly and kept our water glasses filled often. We both were very pleased with our meals. I know I will be back on a thursday for sure. It was 12.95 what a GREAT deal.

The food is not all that good, and the price you pay, one might as well go to Big Jim's. The soup and salad bar are really the only things I go there for, and that is do to the lack of salad bars in this town.

Great place if you want horrible service, or to be ignored completely. Like the door doesn't make a sound when entering anyway

First time there since new owner bought it. Reviews of his food truck were good even though I never got a chance to eat there . All ways closed. This place was open and all ways liked the Suger Bowl food in the past. Wife ordered a Reuben and I ordered a hamburger and tater tots. Plus drinks. Got fries instead tarot tots, hamburger cold and dry, to lean of meat. Condiments on the side, had to make my own burger. Finally got tots, after complaining. Reuben was cold too as well as her fries. Really took a long time to get food on the table, place was dead. Owner not doing the cooking. Just hanging around visiting. Young waiter, may have been his son, was like his first day. $40:00 for 2 sandwiches and one drink from the bar. No ticket, just a note with hand written items with total, Complained to owner who shrugged it off. Will wait for knew owners before going back.

We been going to Sugar Bowl for 20 year! It's darn good place. As a Pacific ocean commercial fisherman, I'm picky about seafood, I know halibut, salmon and cod. The FISH AND CHIPS are "hands down" best I've seen in long time. Sure some places claim theirs is special but here at the Sugar Bowl.... Ling Cod makes fish chips best and that's what they served-up cooked perfect. Most places cook it too long. NOT HERE! If we want a GOOD burger with plenty fries, this is where we go as do many of the local contractors, office workers, cattlemen, and secretaries around town. It's always a full plate with a staff that makes you feel welcome. Try a BLT or cheeseburger too. Salad Bar is often a great way to have a meal in good surroundings. We've never had a bad meal there. Period! Good prices, fresh quality, and it TASTE good. So for old-fashioned English Fish& Chips or a good ole Hamburger. Try the Sugar Bowl
