Midori Japanese Restaurant

This place was great! Makes for good memories. Waitress was very nice so remember to bow! I had the bento, which offers a variety of items. It was very neatly prepared, cooked all the way through and not too hot so I didn't have to sit and look at it until it cooled down. Came with rice, tempura fried veggies and fries, (I loved the tempura broccoli!) a pork kabob, 2 chicken pot stickers, a nice salad and some protein of your choice for the rice. There's Japanese candy to get afterwards which was fun. My only issue is the soy sauce on my dates plate was too much, if they could leave the soy on the side it would be a perfect 10! (:

The other reviews on this page are confusing.The food and the restaurant do NOT smell of cigarettes at all,and everything is neat and orderly inside the restaurant.The lady who prepared and took my order was friendly and kind. I really enjoyed my food and the service at Midori. I ordered take out both times {I've had the variety set of sushi,miso soup and cucumber salad }all of my food items were prepared with care and presented beautifully,tasted fresh and were filling and satisfying. I like the charm of the building-it has been here a long time,previously under the name Lighthouse-Things don't need to be brand-new to be awesome. I'll definitely be stopping in again and hope to try the tofu dishes.Highly recommended :)

Not a safe place to eat. Always empty, it must be a front for racketeering or drugs, don't go there even for the parking lot!
