Dooger's Seafood & Grill

Staff was friendly, and restaurant was clean. Wife ordered the admirals plate for 48.00. Clearly a breaded and fried from frozen meal. I had filet for 40 and it was average. We sent the plate back and we're not charged and staff was not rude about it. If you are a foodie... don't stop. We have been having amazing seafood up the coast and this place is clearly being managed to make money and not provide amazing food. Went down to Normas... almost everything was fresh or local.

Michelle, our server was phenomenal! She was very attentive and polite! The food on the other hand, not so much! It's an embarrassment to say, but, the best thing on my plate was the streamed veggies. I ordered the Combo Platter that was chewy, flavorless, and not easy on my eyes to look at. We actually drove over 200 miles and decided on Dooger's. Needless to say, we were disappointed. I know that this may have been a one off situation. But if we don't do reviews, then the management or ownership will never know!

Went there several times recently when visiting for a conference with others and the food was great every time and our wait time was nonexistent.

Food was disappointing. Razor clams and calamari breading were soggy, crab cakes were very plain, kids clam strips were more like clam bits with basically no clam inside. My non-picky 6 year old didnt even eat it. Cup of Clam chowder before the main meal was the best thing we ate. For a bill over $200 expected a lot better quality.
