Worst place ever!! I'm looking elsewhere and changing school's!! This place is nothing but one big colossal failure of a joke!! Don't bother having any of your so called staff contact me. By the look of all these reviews I'm not the only one.

Great curriculum and teachers but Not meant for one parent with more than one young kid. You definitely need more than one adult around to help because the homework is a lot to keep up with, better not have any work or hobbies either because keeping up homework and class work turns into a full time job.

I tried enrolling my son in Connections Academy since the beginning of August 2021, and not one person has reached out to me after I received wrong information from a staff member and multiple emails sent. Salem/Keizer School District even got a hold of them to help, again, to no avail. It's a bit concerning if the school doesn't respond to any form of communication, how will they be with your childs education? I had nothing but positive thoughts about this school but after this frustrating and rediculous experience, my thoughts have definitely been altered.

staff were rude, i tried to call in to get the transcripts for my partner (18) since they had anxiety about calling and didnt know what to say. when i called only they were alowed to talk on the phone, and when i tried to give them the address they just hung up on us. they called back later and i had to write a script for my partner, then the lady on the phone continued to complain about me trying to help. they acted like robots the whole time saying "we either need the student or the mother" when the student had anxiety and their mother doesnt live with them. are there even people working here or are the automated?

A friend recommended it and I tried to enroll my gifted student. Online communication was so bad right from the beginning, it raised a red flag right away. But the recommendation came from a knowledgeable person. So we pushed ahead. The applicant is forced to submit all sorts of documents first (not just school transcripts), before the administration comes back and tells what classes the child can take! At that point, one can choose whether to accept the enrollment or not. We didn't understand why they needed social security and birth certificates to decide what classes kids can take! But again, my friend was an educator and she herself was enrolling her kid in the program. Two days before school opening, the same friend informed us that she made a mistake! Apparently she just got to know that the ownership of the school changed a few years ago and the famed connections academy of previous years is Oregon Charter Academy now! When I checked ORCA site, their application verification time was close to 2 weeks! Verification at Willamette Connection academy was still not done and I was not sure if they would communicate at all within two days! Long story short, my child ended up going to his neighborhood school (somehow my friend's son started Oregon Charter School two days later)! I have a bad feeling about how this school is conducting their business. They receive funding based on student enrolments and I wondered if the documents play any role in funding. Hope not.
