I was lucky enough to discover Denison Cellars years ago at a wine event in the Willamette Valley. After first tasting their wine it was clear from the first sip that what they are making is clearly a cut above their competition. Each bottle boasts elegant flavors, aromas and - mouthfeel that will force your tastebuds to draw out the nuanced complexities that only extraordinary expertise and a master of his craft can achieve. I’ve honestly never had a bad wine from Denison - actually the more I think about it they are the only winery I can truly say I’ve enjoyed every one of their wines, never had one and thought, “not for me” they have all been amazing and worth mentioning. I look forward most of all to their offerings every year. The only thing better than the wine itself is the people behind it. A knowledgeable and friendly couple that are inviting, modest and genuinely authentic people who are making something great and providing a level of service that matches the high quality of their wines. Since discovering Denison Cellars they are now the Gold Standard in how I compare Oregon wine, and you’ll be hard pressed (pun intended) to find another winery that can do the same.
