Hours were clearly posted, but they decided to close an hour early. Awkward when they weren't officially closed, and sent us away for our date night.

The food during our visit was very boring. I feel like the menu was poorly put together and the chef in the back did a horrible job with presentation. I saw a lot of amazing reviews and pictures on yelp and Google but that was not our experience. Staff was amazing, location was great, food was not.

I'm still not sure I'm sold on tapas, but my wife loves them. I just can't seem to get full no matter how much I order. I may still leave hungry from Andaluz, but I never depart disappointed. I've never disliked even a single dish (as tiny as they are) and most of the time I'm scraping the plate clean before they take it. While the menu is often changing, the bacon-wrapped dates are always on the menu and freaking delicious. Everyone we've been with loves these. I try to not be rude by taking more than my fair share, but I'll eye one on someone else's plate until they finally finish it off. The churros with chocolate sauce have also been on the menu each time I've gone and they are the most fluffy and light churros I've ever had. I don't often cave in for dessert, but maybe it's because I'm always so hungry here, but I don't have any willpower with the churros. And honestly, their waitstaff always seems to be the nicest in town. Their restaurant was packed and they still got my dad's giant wheelchair into a table by asking people to move and then treated us especially well. It's nice to think that people actually like hanging out and being helpful rather than do so because they must. Everyone here always seems to go above and beyond. And tapas waitstaff must get in WAY more steps back and forth from the kitchen than any other waitstaff. It's definitely one of the best places in Salem.
