( COVID-19 Should not be a reason to provide poor customer care and or service)as if we weren't having a hard enough with the pandemic and social freeze during 2020 and these people decided it would be an absolutely good idea to tell us the time after appointment was over and instead of showing up 20 minutes early showed up 15 minutes late we fired them and are moving on to a better children's dentist

My sibling had a toothache so we called to ask about costs. We let the receptionist know we had no health insurance and money was short due to covid, so the receptionist said we could go in and since it was just to check him there would be no charge. We went in, got his toothache checked and left. A week later we got a bill sent to our house, so we called the office and they said, "there is no proof someone said there wouldn't be a charge so you have to pay". Then they said it will go to collections if its not paid. Was I supposed to record every conversation? This is very unprofessional. I didn't expect it to be at no cost, but I also didn't think they would lie to people just to get them in the door. This was staff error so the client shouldn't be punished for their mistake. People are going through enough we don't need to be deceived. Wouldn't recommend.
