Stiff back for months, doctors no help. Just said i have a degenerarive disk and to go to physical therapy. Did that with not much improvement. Have done two treatments of acupuncture here and my back feels so much better. Very nice person, explains procedure very well. Would highly recommend.

Years of searching for relief from my chronic pain resulted in nothing from the many many doctors I had seen. I started seeing Dr. Yamamoto a few years ago and the results he has achieved feels like nothing less than a miracle. I have not felt this good in years and I literally owe it all to Dr. Yamamoto. He has given me my life back and for that I am forever grateful. He's very professional, he listens, and he has excellent bedside manner. I think the world of Dr. Yamamoto and I would highly recommend him.

Hard to believe that one visit and herbs would clear up an issue I've had for a year and a half, but that's exactly what happened after my appointment regarding my eczema. Without making this a debate about Western vs. Chinese medicine, I will say that according to Western doctors, there is "no cure" for eczema. In fact, that's exactly what it said on the handout another doctor gave me, and it's what you'll find on the internet. My only regret is that I did not see Mr. Yamamoto sooner, but I'm a procrastinator and figured my skin issue would resolve on its own, but it never did despite trying numerous things. His herbs cleared my eczema and the horrible itching in less than 2 weeks!A month later, I was having horrible vertigo for no apparent reason. I was very freaked out by it, since I had never experienced it before. He kindly squeezed me in his schedule the same day late in the evening, and his herbal formula cleared my vertigo every time I took it and haven't had it since. It's important not to expect instant or miraculous results because Chinese medicine isn't about masking symptoms, it's about getting your body to heal the underlying issue. In my case, I was fortunate to have my issues resolved quickly. I will continue seeing Dr. Yamamoto, because it is not easy finding an experienced practitioner who is skilled in making their own herbal formulas (this is a real skill) or one that has such finesse with pulse diagnostics. Feeling the pulse is his primary diagnostic tool, and he is so good at it that I don't blame him for relying so heavily on it. Other practitioners will spend a lot of time asking about lifestyle habits, diet, etc, but he goes straight to the signs that the body is presenting and goes from there. Honestly, it's probably more reliable than the information patients give. ;)
