Farmers Insurance - Steven Hull

I purchased a policy for my contracting business through Steven Hull at Farmers. It was not the cheapest policy, but I thought working with an agent instead of a distant phone clerk would be better, and the price was pretty competitive. At the time I didn't know Farmers just brokered these policies. So I gave him my info and the policy was purchased and in place. Two months into my policy it was cancelled due to the fact that my business has 2 active members/owners (my wife and I) and would have cost $500 more had the paperwork been properly submitted. So i was refunded a portion of my payment. Problem was, I was refunded about 1/4 what I paid. It was an annual policy that was paid in full, but only in place for 3 months. I should have received about 3/4 of my premium as a refund. Steven is, so far, refusing to handle this professionally. When a pro screws up...he or she makes it right. So far, his idea of making it right, is telling me, that I told him, that my wife was not active in the company. That is absolutely false. She works side by side with me on every job. She is 50% of my company. So I'm out about $600 and the one who is supposed to know what's going on in the insurance world and screwed up is telling me "Oh well". I now have a policy with a reputable firm, The Hartford. Until this is made right I will continue to highly recommend avoiding Farmers Insurance agent, Steven Hull.

Awesome service, friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Steve the boss is very helpful, knowledgeable, looked into business information that will be for the future reference, over all the place is clean feels like home in its older house type store. :)
