Yasmin Khajavi Photography

Yasmin is amazing. She was our photographer for our 2021 wedding. She is the sweetest, most down to earth person. Not only did my husband and I enjoy her company, our entire bridal party and families loved her! She was there to capture every moment of our wedding (she even hopped on the party bus to capture some rad pics of our bridal party!) Honestly, she made the day even more fun! The photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. We are so happy to have worked with Yasmin for our wedding and look forward to having her capture our family photos in the future.

Yasmin was fantastic! The family pictures she took for us where gorgeous and really captured our family. We can't narrow down which are our favorites! She made the session fun and easy, especially because we are not used to taking pictures. We are looking forward to another opportunity to work with Yasmin again!

Yasmin's skills, demeanor and professionalism are all absolutely top-notch! She was incredibly easy to work with from the pre-planning through our big day and after. She kept the mood light and fun throughout all of the shoots, particularly the wedding party shoot which was in rather hot weather! The final products were absolutely stunning, she has such a great eye for posed as well as candid shots. I am so happy we chose Yasmin to capture our once-in-a-lifetime day, and we enthusiastically recommend her for yours!

Yasmin photographed our wedding in August 2019. She was recommended by our coordinator and also happened to shoot some weddings of friends whose photos I loved. She is an amazingly talented photographer and such a wonderful person….the kind you’d want to be around on your wedding day. She was so unassuming which meant our photos captured all the true emotions of our day. She also had an amazing energy and was so good about staying on time and checking in with appropriate vendors when needed….at one point she even managed to track down a granola bar for me when I said I was hungry 😊 Neither I nor my husband consider ourselves “naturals” in front of the camera (in fact it gives us a little anxiety), but Yasmin is so good about giving guidance, and we were so thrilled with how all of our photos turned out. After many rescheduled attempts due to weather, we also did our engagement session with Yasmin which was such a nice time to get to know her and get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. What we loved about her photos is that she has a very natural approach. Even our portraits didn’t look super staged or posed. Finding a photographer was by far one of the more stressful wedding tasks-- there are so many to choose from that all have such different styles. What we ultimately loved about Yasmin's work is that her photos are so joyful and timeless…not “moody” or heavily filtered. She is well worth the investment and then some. I’d also recommend springing for the second shooter even if you have a smaller wedding (ours was only around 130). It was so nice to have candid photos of our guests that were taken while we were doing portraits. It also meant that we got a whopping 1,500+ photos. A testament to how awesome she is was the fact that Yasmin was thoughtful enough to send us our wedding photos the day of our one month anniversary…I hadn’t expected to have them for a few months! I don’t have enough good things to say about Yasmin. I hope she can capture special moments for us in the years to come!
