Hollywood Pet Hospital - CLOSED

I recently moved to Portland, sadly leaving behind my tried and true veterinary clinic who cared for my elderly rescued Golden Retriever. Wanting to find a vet who had the same values and care, on my first appointment it happened with Dr. Lambert (and staff!) at the Hollywood Pet Hospital. If we care enough to seek a vet on behalf of our animal companions, we don’t want to settle. From the initial phone call to set up an appointment, to meeting the support staff, and finally observing Dr. Lambert interact with my dog and yes, myself, I had found the place, the care, the knowledge, the trust I sought. And my dog couldn’t have been happier either.

I brought my cat in for a cough he was experiencing. I called on a Saturday and I was able to schedule a Monday appointment with no problem. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, and very sweet to my kitty. The vet did not try to sell me on meds or procedures that were not necessary, and he seemed like a very honest and direct doctor. The only thing I did not like was about the location itself- this hospital doesn't have it's own parking lot and so I had to park on the street, which I can see being more stressful with a sick pet. I have a dog at home that will definitely be coming here for his next round of vaccinations and check up. Kitty is feeling better and he will be back, too. Thank you, Hollywood Pet Hospital!!
