Cartridge World

After having purchased a printer --- at what is almost always a notably reasonable price --- one 'catches on' quickly upon finding oneself obliged to spend exorbitantly for replacement cartridges (which seem to empty out as if the contents seem to think of themselves as if in competition with Niagara Falls). Since exorbitant refill costs have never been my cup of tea (or my brew of choice in any context), I was glad to discover Cartridge World --- conveniently located just east of another deservingly popular haunt, Powell's Books on Hawthorne Street. Whoa! --- imagine that --- cartridge refills at about half --- or less than half --- the going market rate. And of course there is yet more. Since Cartridge World turned out to be even better than I expected --- with a gifted, lively conversationalist of a manager who's actually an engaging doctor of psychology who knows his way around a great many subject matters --- a trip to the shop is always not only technically beneficial but fun. (Amazing, how one topic segues directly into another (ask any philosopher (come to think of it, ask Ted)).) The 'right-hand man' of the operation, Matt, really knows his way around printers and has helped me out of a technical jam here and there over the phone. Cartridge World also stocks paper and a great many other supplies and offers related services no office environment should do without --- or ever need do without again. I went to the Hawthorne location to get help with my cartridges not being recognized by my printer. I was helped by an awesome guy working on the weekend who was knowledgeable and straight forward about the problem. He was able to reset a couple of my cartridges and replace the others at no cost to me. It really helped me get printing again - fast and without hassle. I really appreciated his customer service and making it right for me. I would recommend cartridge world as the go-to place for your printer and ink needs because of the mission and the people who work there. That guy deserves a raise!

Matthew is an printer wizard. He can fix just about anything and he is incredibly professional and friendly. He goes so far out of his way to make sure customers are satisfied and really goes above and beyond with his level of expertise and service. Thank you!

Matt was super helpful!!! I went in to replace my cartridge, he determined my old cartridge still had ink, it just needed to be cleaned. Excellent customer service!
