Lawyers Title

We used Lawyer's Title for our closing and had Judy a our closing agent. She was very helpful for the process. She handled the idiosyncracies of USAA's closing process as well, which was fantastic. We actually signed the documents at the NW 23rd place location. However, they are willing to meet you wherever you need.

Because I sold my house to a friend, we didn't go through escrow. That meant tying up a lot of loose ends ourselves, with Title Insurance being the final one. I called around to ask about purchasing the insurance only, i.e. not paying for full escrow services. Some places, like Fidelity, couldn't conceive of the possibility, and would quote me only the cost of full escrow. The communication disconnect was phenomenal, and disappointing.Lawyers Title, on the other hand, simply referred me directly to their division that handles that; it's called TSG, standing for Title Specialists Group (or similar).Natalie, my main contact there, is some kind of WonderWoman. She was exquisitely professional, thorough, and unbelievably fast in her responses and execution. Out of five stars, she gets a *10*!
