It was clear from the start they were concerned about me and my specific issues then designed a program that works based on my body rather than the usual “standard” set of exercises. This place is fantastic. I have gone to Jeff for knee issues twice now and both times I have started to see results within a week of my first session. He is extremely kind, professional, understanding and really makes your treatment work for you. Very easy to schedule appointments and always walked away feeling positive and grateful for my decrease in knee pain.

I’ve gone to Advanced Spine and Sports for a few different issues over the last two years and have been very happy with my progress. I general I’ve gotten great treatment and physical therapy exercises that have greatly improved my shoulder and hip mobility, while also helping to ease back pain and flare ups of Achilles tendinitis. A special thanks to Jeff Cox, who has been helping me the last year or so. A very knowledgeable Doc and customer focused.

I am seventy-five years old and have suffered with debilitating back issues since my early twenties when I sustained two serious injuries. Over the years, I tried a number of chiropractors, physical and massage therapists, acupuncturists - pretty much everything short of surgery. To be fair, all of them gave me some partial and/or temporary relief. However, none offered much hope of reversing the gradual worsening of my condition. Since my injuries, I have lost flexibility and mobility while suffering more and more stiffness, achiness, and bouts of severe pain and crippling muscle spasms. My sporting activities were severely limited. Even walking a mile at a slow pace was problematic. Several months ago, I went to see Jeffrey Cox at Advance Sports and Spine Therapy in northwest Portland. He took his time reviewing my history and analyzing my condition. His first attempt to redress my issues was not effective, so he prescribed an alternative approach. I began doing the stretches he prescribed three times a day, and then added some core strengthening exercises. As he suggested very few stretches, I was able to do them in just a few minutes. After only six sessions, I am now managing my condition very well. I enjoy increased flexibility and mobility. Best of all, my lower back stiffness and pain have all but disappeared. I give Jeffrey Cox my unequivocal recommendation. Thanks to his assistance, my quality of life is immeasurably improved.
