Boxer Ramen

The good: The broth flavor is good, noodles pick up a good amount of soup The bad: Wish they used traditional ramen egg instead of poached egg (my egg was under cooked). Noodles were served cold which made the broth go warm instead of it being super hot like it should. Both noodles and broth should be served hot. The noodles weren’t very “bouncy” or chewy. They also had a weird wheat flavor after taste. The smoked pork belly just taste like regular thick cut bacon. Don’t get pork shoulder, it’s just shredded pork in your bowl.

Wonderful place to get ramen in the Portland area! The portions sizes are huge. The leftovers were enough for another meal! This place is clean and a great place to go with a friend. Not too many options but the spicy red miso (bottom one) is really delicious! Decent prices. The spicy red miso was $14. Would recommend coming here!

The space is small and cozy, and the menu is surprisingly small. That being said, the number of options are perfectly appropriate. The ramen is delicious and the portion size is plenty. The staff was welcoming, and had no problem making an ingredient substitution for my wife. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves.
