This store is Awesome! i cant imagine the bad reviews i was just reading, the owner and his employess are way beyond helpful, they stand behind all there products, they give great discounts and really care about there customers, we have bought sooooo much for our fishtank and nothing has died or been bad! we love the store we live in hillsboro and drive the 30 minutes just to them when we could go somewhere closer but we choose not to and to give saltwater fantaseas are bussiness. please check out the store there awesome!Sincerely A very happy customer

When I decided to get a salt water system, I went to about every store in the Portland Metro area to do research. Saltwater Fantaseas was the most helpful and understanding of my rookie questions.
One year after purchasing and setting up the system with a lot of help from Patrick and Lisa, I still have several of the original fish, and corals I put in the tank, and have had a 100% fish survival rate from the first month on.
Over the past year, Patrick and crew has bent over backwards to ensure that our tank is healthy and successful. This included coming out to my house to walk me through how to do a water change, fixing a plumbing issue that developed and helping me get an algae issue under control.
I cannot see myself shopping for my aquarium needs anywhere else.

Patrick and the family are very concerned about your tank and it's conditions, they do free water testing, consulting and ask questions that are very thoughtful and go toward a healthy tank for your enjoyment. Their ideal tank may sometimes be different than the corals or animals that you may want but they always explain the reasoning behind it rather than just giving it a blunt response. My go to store for any advice and animal purchases.

I have been visiting Fantaseas for a few months now and am constantly impressed with their costumer service and large selection of fish, coral, and other aquarium related necessities. Would definitely recommend stopping by saying hi and taking a look at their store!

A few months ago I was leaving town for a weekend of golf. About 80 miles of town my son called and told me not to panic but we had a small fire around the sump area of my reef tank. The fire department had arrived and all was under control. My first call was to Patrick at Saltwater FantaSeas. Patrick and Lisa said they would come to my home and evaluate the situation and advise me. Within an hour I received a call from my wife telling me that Patrick had been there and they assessed the situation and they were coming back with parts for repair. Within 2 hours Patrick called and had found me a new sump and all other equipment to keep my tank going.
When I returned home I was amazed at what had taken place. The needed repairs had been done and all was up and running perfectly. U
I feel the timely response and the effort Patrick showed undoubtedly save me thousands of dollars.
