Kurt has helped us with purchasing our first home, selling it and then purchasing our 2nd home in the Portland area. We cannot recommend him enough on how quickly him and his team work to ensure we closed on time and negotiating seller credit towards paint work. The quality of customer service and checking in with us making sure that we have all of our questions answered gave us such a peace of mind. His assistant Eileen was also a pleasure to work with and we look forward to bringing them along with us on our next adventures.

Kurt has heart, savvy, and indispensable charm. I have worked my whole life to save and prepare for homeownership only to encounter a bustling market with near-impossible hoops and barriers to jump through and overcome. Kurt has an outstanding ability to resonate with the deeper emotional aspects of the buying process. He paid close attention to my reaction to the homes we toured. He noticed the features that drew me in, he asked questions of me in a way that helped me formulate what exactly it was I wanted. It made me feel as if I was at the helm of my buying experience and provided me a sense of empowerment in a market dynamic that can make so many new buyers feel powerless. Once I began making offers, I was astounded to see Kurt’s ability to maintain calm and composure while leading me through the arduous process of contract and financing. His customer service really elevated into high-gear for this portion of the experience. The financial piece of home-buying can be such a roller-coaster ride. As a first time home-buyer, I brought some anxieties and curiosities that required a little extra guidance and reassurance. Kurt went above and beyond to answer my questions, think outside the box, advocate for my best interest with all involved parties, and ultimately close on a deal that I thought— a few times!!— might fall through or eclipse the deadline. Kurt, however, never doubted it would all come together in-time. And trust me, he makes it look easy, but I saw him working hard behind-the-scenes to ensure every last detail was taken care of. He consistently reassured me of how normal the ups and downs of securing financing can be. His patience, candor, gentleness and trademark humor kept my spirits up! I really cannot imagine going through this process with someone I didn’t trust as much as I trust Kurt. It is an extraordinary time to be a new homebuyer. Especially for first-time homebuyers. It was not easy to find the location, square-footage, and amenities that I wanted. Yet somehow Kurt pulled it all off and now I have a home I could not have dreamed I’d be able to find. He always made me feel like an important and valued customer. I will definitely be seeking him out for future investments.

My partner and I worked with Kurt to buy our first home a few months ago and unfortunately I can't recommend him. He's a decent guy but has been extremely unresponsive since the purchase. We get promotional emails from him but it's been next to impossible to get a response to any of our questions. Our home warranty wasn't purchased when it should have been and it took months of calling and emailing to even find that out. Meanwhile, we've been paying out of pocket instead of using the warranty because some repairs just couldn't wait. Attempts to contact him for other reasons have also been met with radio silence. Overall, we're happy we got our house but I feel Kurt and his team's customer service has been pretty lacking.
