Nama Ramen

Best shoyu ramen I've had in Portland, perfect portion to get a bowl and an apetizer. I got two apetizers and got a bit too full. Shoyu Ramen includes porkbelly, fat perfectly rendered for a supple bite, a whole soft boiled egg, seaweed, bamboo shoot, beansprouts, green onion. Every condiment generous and perfectly cooked. Wakame salad comes with cucumber and tomato, and a slice of lemon. Wonderful additions, really rounded out the sweetness of the wakame. Gyoza comes with a lemon as well, and lightly spicy dip that is still forwarly soysauce and vinegar. And a pot of earthy genmaicha green, three full pours with some left to savor the last bitterness of the tea. Absolutely delightful experience. Kid-friendliness: The space is open with some wall benches that can accomodate kids, a large table with bench and chairs for a larger family. The music is tasteful classics, casual enviroment I'd bring my neice to surely. Dietary restrictions: Menu marked for different diets, vegetarian ramen has tofu, and egg optional for animal-free eaters.

The food is literally  amazing! no long wait times even when they are busy. The customer service is amazing (ive been here multiple times and everyone has been amazing) The inside is so cute with the art and the menu. Such an amazing place to grab a bite to eat! Id recommend the fried chicken and the kimchi fried rice! (the ramen is also to die for any choice is a good choice)
