Joseph Parrish LPC

I've seen a few therapists in Portland and Joe is, by far, the best I've talked to. He is kind, compassionate, funny, and is a great conversationalist. He helped my partner and I deal with having very opposite personalities which was causing a lot of friction. His style is extremely effective and we still use the techniques he coached us through to this day. I can't recommend Joe enough! He literally saved our relationship. I am so thankful that we found him and stuck with him.

Joe is a long time colleague in a world of many therapists in the Portland area. I frequently refer clients to him as I trust and value his work. The feedback I get from his work is that Joe has proven time and time again his professional demeanor and approachable candor with clients is helpful and worthwhile. Joe really knows how to create a comfortable, warm and healing atmosphere while maintaining that environment as the client processes and grows. This can be difficult for some clients to find. He is direct, supportive, experienced and well trained. I will continue to trust his work and send clients his way.
