I have been renting with this company for the last 3 years. When it was a smaller operation things were much more consistent and easily communicated across the board, the old saying of if you want something done right, do it yourself. Ben goes above and beyond to ensure the properties are secure and taken care of. I have rented two different units at two different properties. After buying my first home unexpectedly, (the day after getting preapproved), I gave 30 days notice I would be moving out. We paid the entire early term fee that same day. Upon doing so we were told if a tenant was found that amount of time would be sent back to us in between our move out date and the date the new tenant took possession of the unit. Upon receiving our check we were informed they didnt have to give us anything back when we asked about the remaining funds owed to equal the half back we were told we would receive at the live final walk through. We received 1/3 of the total, and 30% less than was even brought to our attention in the first place (I am not a property manager so I dont think to ask that). Ensure you keep detailed records when dealing with this company as they try to exhaust their way through the process and have little to no understanding of customer service and thoroughly comprehending what is being stated the first time around. Not to mention when signing our first lease with them our original unit was given away after we had signed for it, paid, and completed paperwork, shouldve known. Rent from anyone else if you would like to be treated fairly, especially after being a long term, quiet, and on time tenant.

I applied for an apartment during the smoke/wildfire situation and now I'm out $600. After applying for the apartment, I couldn't view it for several days due to hazardous air quality, so I had to pay a holding fee if I wanted a place to live. Once I was able to view it, it was clearly way too small ($1400 for a 500 sq.ft. 1 bedroom where the bedroom can literally only fit a bed). I told them right away that I would not be moving forward with the apartment and literally begged for my money back as I just lost my job and rent is due. The responses I received were apathetic and then they just stopped responding all together. At the end of the day, I lost $600 to have their apartment sit there for 10 days... during historic wildfires, a pandemic, economic crisis, and losing my job. Safe to say, I'm glad I know not to use this company when I'm looking for an apartment again.
