PRA was the best thing that could have happened to me after my brain injury. The therapy was rigorous, but the staff was always there for support and encouragement. It is easy to become both complacent and depressed after such a thing, but the overall experience was so positve. My first recommendation is to avoid a brain injury. :^) but if such a thing occurs, I highly recommend Progressive Rehabilitation Associated.

when i first started at rehab i had no faith that i would find any help to be able to help with the pain... just any movement was hard to cope with. i needed help to change my thoughts of how i was dealing with the pain and with i thought about me being worth anything. now i may not be out of pain but with some one that will listen to you and help walk beside you to help show you a better way. so with what i have learned i will be able to move forward and help others along the way.
