Dr. Miller has a lot of experience, and it shows. He took great care listening to me, and explaining all the steps of my visit from start to finish. I left the office with a better understanding of why my old glasses weren't working well anymore.

I took two of my children to Dr. Miller, and should have listened to my first impression of him as he stumbled into the office making me think he was possibly intoxicated. It only got worse from there. After eye exams during which his behavior can only be classified as strange, we were told that my daughter would have to try out a contacts brand before ordering new ones, so we should call to order them in two weeks, once she knew they worked for her. In the meantime, Dr. Miller left his position at Sears optical. When we tried to order her new contacts, he had not left a prescription for her, so the receptionist called him to ask for it. At this point, he texted me directly and said he would send it to Sears and to give it a few days. Days went by, then weeks, with no word. When I went to pick up glasses for my son weeks later, the prescription had still not arrived. The receptionist called him, she told me, and asked him to send the precription directly to my daughter, who was back at college at this point. Since I had his number from his text to me, and wasn't quite trusting him any more, I also texted and asked him to please (yes, I said "please") send the prescription directly to my daughter as soon as possible. Today, Sears called to tell me they received the prescription there. Rather than drive a half hour to Sears again to pick it up unnecessarily, I texted Dr. Miller to ask whether he happened to also send one directly to my daughter, as planned (which would not have arrived yet). At this point he called me in a rage, saying I should not dare text him ever again. I told him I would not- that I wanted to clarify so that I would know whether or not I had to drive out of my way to pick it up. When he continued yelling, I hung up on him- only to receive a series of texts from him saying I should not dare hang up on him, telling me he was blocking my number, then continuing to text me. I don't think I could have done anything differently that would have actually resulted in a prescription in hand. Ridiculous. P.S.: The review below mine is from a Sears optical employee. Seems unethical.
