Bought a Flying V from these guys a few years back! Great bunch of People there...very knowledgeable and professional! Most unlike the Big Guitar stores around Portland. I hate to see you close your doors! Thanks for the long run! Much fun and happiness in your retirement! Going to miss the Web Demo's!

This store will be missed all over Oregon, Idaho, Washington & California. I remember hearing about it and visiting it from Boise, ID. back in the 70's I believe it was. I was always amazed of the variety of old guitars and amps. I hate to see you close but wish you all the best..

Incredible rude and impatient staff. Don't EVER shop at this store. These people do NOT deserve ANYONE's business. I grew up going to this store because when I was child it used to be the only option. These people are arrogant, full of themselves, and dishonest. I'm so glad the internet was invented and now people can look at the reviews before they go there. DON'T GO HERE EVER!!!!

I've been into this place many times since I was a teenager, and they were not nice to me at all back then unless I was with my father. I understand, as they are a small shop that has some top quality equipment. I went in there recently and only 1/3 original Apple Music Row shops had been open, I was disappointed and I hope that their business stays afloat. I never felt uncomfortable going into the percussion and acoustic shops, only electric. I'm certain that the employees (all of whom are eldery men) know their craft, but they make it clear that they only want people in the store who readily plan on making purchases. Another reviewer wrote that it is more of a place "to build a working relationship." I am not necessarily there to meet people, and I would hardly go to music stores if I was only there to make big purchases. I don't like feeling like I'm expected to buy something at stores. In terms of gear, they have probably the most premium and expensive gear in town. They don't take all trades like Old Town Music or Trade Up Music, only high end stuff. I believe that they charge about the same price as Guitar Center for things, if not more, but perhaps that's only in top quality gear. Apple Music has $30,000 guitars. THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. I'd be interested to know in who might buy those guitars. Makes me think that maybe teenagers going into there is like a teenager going into the Jaguar store on W Burnside. Heed this warning, teenagers. The merchandise is so good that it makes up for the lack of 2015 customer service. So I give it 3 stars-it's okay. I hope the place stays open and I hope that the other two neighboring shops didn't actually close down, but it certainly looked like it.
