Brian has instructed me now for over 2 yea s. He's very patient and encouraging. He even took time to move a lesson outdoors near where my car waa sitting, waiting for a tow, near his home.

Brian gave an amazing beginning ukulele workshop in Estacada recently. By the end of the lesson we were all strumming and singing along enthusiastically! He is super friendly, sets a good pace and is an excellent communicator and knowledgeable and encouraging instructor. His love of the instrument is contagious!

My wife and I have been taking private lessons for over 6 months, and we have learned a TON from Brian. We were literally beginners when we started and now enjoy playing ever more complex material. Brian uses the James Hill method of teaching ukulele, which we love. It is not just strumming, but focuses on learning to read music using a nice mix of exercises and songs from the very beginning. I never knew taking up the ukulele would allow me to relearn music in such a comprehensive way. Brian has also been treating us to songs of his own arrangement, and we're excited to delve into Brian's new songbook, which is soon to be released.

Brian is a patient teacher with a great private rehearsal studio space so you can really concentrate during your lesson. Brian brings a lot more than just proficiency in technique and theory to the table. There are plenty of skilled players who think they can teach but it is rarer than you think to find one who actually can.
