Best movers I have ever used. They got all of our stuff moved in under 3 hours. Even though the Owner was having a rough morning he was in good spirits joking around with us as he moved everything out of and into our new place. If I could give them more than 5 stars here I would! Highly recommend using them if you are moving in the Portland area.

Should be Last Choice Movers This was my first time using movers and I was very excited to avoid paying friends in beer & pizza for once (it felt adult). I stayed up all night before the move to make sure everything was packed and ready for Saturday morning. As 10 am was approaching (when they were supposed to show) I was excited to be moving in to my first home--texting "it's moving day!" to my family. 10:30 am rolled around and we had not heard anything. Once we called them (they did not call us) we found out that although the driver showed up for work, his helper had not. The owner assured us he would get it figured out and call us back. 1:00 pm on Saturday, still no movers. Finally we heard from the owner, who apologized and assured us he would personally show up the next day. 10:00 am Sunday, no movers. We received a text (not a phone call) that again, still no-one showed up to work and he cannot get a hold of anyone. He assured us (again) that he would figure it out. We have not heard from him since. This was by far the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I understand if someone calls in to work and I gave them the benefit of the doubt on Saturday. When Sunday rolled around and we wasted the day waiting for movers a second time, that was just disrespectful and unprofessional. The fact that we have STILL not heard from them is even worse in my mind. I am out $120 for having to board my dogs both days, in anticipation of having to move. I have also had to book last minute movers and take time off work, so that I could move during the week. They cost me money and time, both of which I cannot get back. This company came recommended to us by a family friend, so we had high expectations. We also read previous reviews on here and everything checked out. BE CAREFUL if you choose to book them. Have a back-up plan. While well priced, they don't show up for work and lack the professionalism to communicate with clients.
