Kevin made the process of selling my home easy and seamless. He was attentive to my questions and helped me to understand the selling process. He was easy to work with, kind and has a great sense of humor. Kevin helped set realistic expectations for me in selling my home, then blew those expectations away. I called Kevin Donahue to help sell my home in the Wilshire-Beaumont neighborhood of Portland after an unsuccessful For Sale By Owner attempt of selling my home myself. I figured doing it on my own would be quick and easy given the market conditions but I was wrong. I thought that selling on my own would save me money but I was wrong again. It's only because I picked Kevin as my agent that I closed at the price we did. I could have paid him twice what I did and he'd have been worth the price. Kevin's communication was thorough and constant throughout the entire process. His guidance was easy to put my confidence and faith in because he took the time to help me truly understand the housing market and where my home stood within it. His marketing for my home far surpassed what any other Realtor promised they'd offer, which included a website, professional photos, video, super high quality flyers, 3D tour and open house materials for starters. In getting my house ready for market, Kevin put down mulch in my backyard and never asked for a dime. He also paid to have a couch and some other debris from the house that required a junk hauler. I'm pretty sure another Realtor wouldn't have done this for me, but Kevin did. I can say with total confidence that my house would NOT have sold for as much as it did had I used a Realtor other than Kevin. I'm not going to divulge his trade secret as far as how he did this for me, besides I don't think I could explain exactly how he did it myself but know this, the marketing plan and approach to selling homes that Kevin laid out (and executed) for me was unlike what anything any other realtor said they'd do for me on the way to heolping me sell my home, which was why I went with Kevin to begin with. You could interview 100 Realtors and I don't think any would offer the truly remarkable tactic Kevin used in selling my home. It would be a mistake not to use him in selling your home, odds are you'd be leaving money on the table by not working with him, in my opinion

Kevin Donahue with EXP Realty is one of Portland's top Realtors as far as I'm concerned! Not only did he help negotiate 30k off the listing price of the home but in that process, he also set me up with a new home lender. This was at a point in the process you don't normally think about changing lenders.... right after my offer was accepted! I mentioned in passing to Kevin that my credit score had recently gone up, which caught Kevin's attention so he started asking questions about my loan and my approval. This is where working with Kevin is different from other Realtors. The next thing you know I was on the phone with a lender who he recommended and within a day and a half my new loan was in Underwriting and my appraisal was being ordered. The process never skipped a beat, and Kevin made sure of it. In the end, the lender he set me up with not only offered me a loan that saved me over $200/month in payments but also saved me $8500 in loan and Mortgage Insurance costs on top of that! So by my account, working with Kevin saved me AT LEAST $38,500!! Don't come out on the short end of the transaction. Having Kevin on your side will pay off the way it did for me!!

Kevin Donahue with EXP Realty has a long history with mortgage lending that impressed me. When we wanted to buy some property on the coast we called him, which was back in October of 2019. He was very helpful in finding us the right inspectors, septic and surveyor to help the purchase proceed smoothly.

I worked with Kevin Donahue of EXP Realty for nearly a year in the process of buying my home, which ended in March of this year. Kevin went above and beyond what any other realtor would have done for me in trying to find a new home. His guidance and patience are what got me through what became a difficult personal process when I suffered the loss of my husband relatively early in our process of working together. Not entirely sure of what I was looking for myself, Kevin did seemed to know. He knew exactly what kind of house would best fit my family going forward (and why) and insisted I not settle for something less. He said I'd know it when I saw it, he was right. I just needed to be as patient with the process as he was with me. Housing inventory was extremely limited, especially based on the fact I needed to have a single level home in the Canby. Not only did Kevin send a letter to all the home owners in the area who owned houses like the one I sought in search of a home for me, he also created this door hanger and used it to go knock door-to-door trying to make contact with willing sellers. What agent does all that??!!?? Kevin did and does.

My business partner and I wanted to buy a commercial space for our business in the SE/Division neighborhood of Portland. Though we've both bought homes, buying commercial real estate was a new experience for us. Kevin's guidance made us feel like the process wasn't 'a first' for us at all. Acquiring the property became a competitive-bid situation and it was Kevin's negotiation skills that secured us the property (without having to over pay). The process of obtaining commercial financing was also entirely different from our expectations set from buying residential homes in the past but Kevin was able to explain the process and help set expectations for not only the buying process but also what we could expect from the loan side of things, as the Realtor in the transaction mind you. At one point in the process the bank wasn't being transparent regarding the loan and its approval status. Well before the reality of missing the first close date was on us, Kevin was on the phone helping cure the appraisal issues that were causing the delay and helping create transparency we weren't getting from our commercial lender. Kevin saw the writing on the wall and started setting our expectations (and the sellers) for a missed close date three weeks into a six week close. It was Kevin's forecasting that took the sting away and kept the seller patient when the bank finally came forward and announced we would be missing our first closing date. I don't know many realtors who have that kind of experience. Kevin's able to offer his client a service no Realtor, unless they shared his lending background, is able to offer buyers or sellers.
