Amber is amazing! I see her regularly for Brazilian blowouts, and every time I am more than happy! She pays attention to detail which I appreciate. 😊

I booked a mini highlights appointment online the week prior. The day of my appointment, I walked here to find the salon locked and the stylist nowhere to be found. I waited a few minutes then called and texted her (as the posted sign on her door asked). She didn't pick up the phone and did not call back. She texted me after a few minutes, saying she was walking to the salon and was running behind. No apology or explanation. I waited for a few minutes to see if she would offer something redeeming. Nothing. I then asked what her ETA was after hoping she would be a little more transparent, and she said about 10 minutes/ 5 blocks walking-distance away. Since I was getting no sort of professional or courteous vibe from her, I went with my gut to pass on this especially since I had plans later in the evening, and she wasn't even going to be there until about a half an hour after the scheduled time. If she was even a little more gracious, I would have given her the benefit of the doubt. I texted her, letting her know I was going to pass as I had plans, I was going to request a refund, and I would have liked a heads up if she was going to be a half hour late (in hopes she wouldn't do this to a future, unfortunate customer). She responded saying life happens, her grandmother is in the hospital, and she lost track of time. She flippantly added "You do that (request refund). I can stay here". I would have empathized with this emergency situation, but her attitude did not allow me to do so. Why wouldn't she have just cancelled the appointment? She had several opportunities to let me know what was going on before, during or after (walking 5+blocks) or to even act like she cared about being professional. I would never come back here - and judging by the dramatic "Denied" status on her booking platform, she wouldn't take me if I tried! Thank goodness there's a plethora of stylists elsewhere.

LOVE what she does and just feel so comfortable hanging with her while she saves my hair!!!! She is amazing and can really work with curls of all types. I know this because my hair has them alllll.

Hands down the best Brazilian Blow out I've ever received ! Amber is fast, thorough, and honest! I'll be going to her from now on!
