After 15 years since buying my last car, I personally did not want to go through a dealership. I didn't want to worry about haggling for price or feeling any pressure. With today's car market, it was tough to find a car that was reasonably priced and well taken care of. After looking on Facebook Market Place, Craigslist & Auto Trader, I stumbled upon Lexus of Portland. Of all the different makes & models I researched, they actually had the best price/quality I could find. I contacted Lexus of Portland and spoke with a salesmen named Palmer. He setup a simple appointment for me to take a test drive. Long story short, I actually test drove to vehicles each two times. As for price, I already knew they were both in the Kelly Blue Book Value "Great Price" category. Palmer was real easy to speak with and didn't sway me towards one car or the other and let me know the price is the price. I already knew going in, I was fine with paying the listed price because of Kelly Blue Book. After going back & forth between the two cars, Palmer said, I'll let you personally take your time and I'll be inside. We'll, I face timed my fiance and showered her both the cars and she was really way more for one than the other and that was all the reassurance I needed. Let's just say, the transaction was smooth, got a check from my credit union and in 3 hours had the most easy experience I've ever had. The dealership was fantastic and from being a car guy & researching, Lexus of Portland truly had the best price/value I found from other dealerships and even private sellers!
